Mark and I love re-creating dishes we enjoy during travel or playing around with recipes shared by friends. When we explore new cuisines, we study any unusual ingredients and the creative approaches to using them. It is also an opportunity to learn the similarities between traditions. The differences are delicious, but it is delightful to see the similarities.
And while we are diving into new territory, we love experimenting with different cookware to determine how it affects the final dish. That is why I always capture the gear used in my recipes. It doesn’t mean that you have to use the same equipment, but it helps you make adjustments if you know what I am using and how it affects the results. It is all a part of how I take the time to test and share all the essential details for a successful cooking experience.
