Sharing a brunch is the perfect way to indulge on the weekends. Take a little time to pamper yourself, getting up late, sipping away half the morning with big mugs of coffee over a good book. And then, sometime mid-morning, pull out your recipe and start whipping up something delicious to share with friends or family. It doesn’t have to be fancy. Just set the table, put out a little vase of flowers, and be relaxed while you savor the food and conversation.
For an outdoor brunch, I like to layer a beautiful napkin over a big tray and then arrange what I am serving on beautiful dishes. It makes it easy to carry and looks great. Suddenly you feel like you are at a cafe. My favorite tray is a big wicker affair with a sturdy metal framework hidden under the weave. When it is time to clean up, everything gets loaded back on the tray. And then it is just one trip back into the house for the cleanup. It couldn’t be easier!
