Do you crave a little adventure in your mains? Going out for dinner is fabulous for inspiration, but it gets a little tough on the wallet unless we balance it with delicious creations at home. I am constantly working out the cost per plate at home versus the restaurant’s price per plate. It almost always works out that the restaurant’s cost is at least four times the price. Cooking together at home can be a joyous experience if we approach it with an open mind. We can involve the children, and they will proclaim it is the best food ever because they had a hand in the preparation. We love a good restaurant, but let’s take that inspiration and get cooking!
