Do you enjoy dining with friends? How about cooking with friends? Going out is fabulous for inspiration, but it is even more fun to gather in your home. Plus, it is easier on the wallet. Years ago, I started tracking the cost per plate cooking at home, comparing it to what it costs at a restaurant. With very few exceptions, it works out to about a fourth the price. And once you add on beverages and tips, the bill can quickly get out of hand. With that in mind, the next time you are dining with friends, why not invite them over to your place instead?
There is nothing quite like laughing and enjoying the process of preparing a meal together and then enjoying the deliciousness that follows. You know it is true. Everywhere you look, the popularity of group cooking classes is exploding. I am talking about the private group classes where you do all the cooking and then finish the evening dining together. Why not do it on your own at home instead and save your budget for some beautiful beverages? It is fun to cook with friends in your home!
